Many of you have asked me “What happened?” with regard to Rev. Kathryn. Until now, I have not said much to you because I did not want the rumor mill running at full speed. Congratulations! It was only running at about ¼ speed. I have written a summary of events covering the time period from Rev. Kathryn’s arrival until Bishop Brewer terminated the pastoral relationship. The summary is being published in the August newsletter. You may note that there are limitations on what I can say even at this point, but you will get the idea if you read the summary.
We are moving ahead with our plans for a Vestry workshop utilizing a professional facilitator in order to begin formulating some Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the different ministries in our church. If well written, these can be passed on to future leaders of our church so we don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time we have a new leader.
We have hired a new secretary and I believe she will do just fine. She starts next week!
Keep going TEAM THOMAS!!!
