Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of children that is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the church, and the principles of Maria Montessori.
This is a distinctive, hands-on, Christian program for all children.
CGS is a common religious experience involving children and adults in which the religious values of childhood, primary those values of contemplation and enjoyment of God, are predominant. This experience is shared in a place particularly prepared for the religious life of children called the Atrium
God and the child have a unique relationship with one another. Children learn with adults in the atrium about their relationship with God, about the church liturgical practices, and prepare for their place in the worship community.
